The Birthday Girl

I had a couple of pictures that I just had to post. The first one, I took on Sunday, of my birthday girl. This is her favorite of the outfits that she picked out when she and Nannie had their shopping spree last week. Those of you who've known me for awhile, can you believe how big she's gotten?

And, if you haven't known me for awhile, just take a look at this rather grainy (first digital camera) picture of Megan in almost the same spot, in the same beautiful-on-her mint green color when she was just three:

I can't get over how she's grown...or how curly her hair used to be before she decided to cut it herself. Ugh!

And, I just had to post one picture from her birthday party last tonight. Megan shares a birthday with a friend and this year we decided to do a party together. We let the kids blow out their candles at the same time. I usually don't have much luck capturing those moments, but somehow I managed, this time, to snag this great picture:
