I'm Still Around

I feel like I've been very quiet on my blog the last couple of days. I've been enjoying a wonderful weekend. As I mentioned on my Weekly Wrap-Up, Josh and Megan went home with the in-laws for the weekend and Brianna spent the night with a friend Friday night. Well, the friend's mom is such a wonderful friend of mine that when she read on my blog that the younger two were gone for the weekend, she offered to let Brianna stay until Sunday night! Doesn't she deserve the "Friend of the Year" award?

Brian and I got almost two full days together. We had a wonderful weekend. We went out to dinner together, got some Christmas shopping done, rented a movie, and just enjoyed spending some time together.

Everyone is back home today and I've spent a bit of time doing tome planning for our next quarter. It's been a rainy, nasty day, so it's the perfect time for planning and hanging around on the computer.

  1. How wonderful to have a few days alone with your hubby. And yes, your friend does deserve "Friend of the Year" award. That was so very thoughtful of her. She has inspired me to be a better friend.
