HSBA Prizes

Does anyone else see the irony -- or, at least, the humor -- in the fact that the very first prize I've received from the Homeschool Blog Awards was a Chick-Fil-A package?



If you don't see the humor in that, you obviously haven't known me long enough. I mean, we only eat there once in a blue moon.


If, you know, you've started substituting the words "blue moon" for the word "week," that is. And, in the interests of full disclosure, sometimes we eat there more than once a week. There's a strong possibility that the free kid's meal coupon will be used, um, tomorrow.

  2. :) Glad to see you got it! ;) I love CFA - we eat there WAY too much b/c they have a kids eat free nite and are one of the only places close enough that has a salad on the menu (my husband is a rabbit and will outlive us all).

  3. Ours doesn't do a free night. They have a $0.99 kid's meal night, which is still nice. Not as nice as it was in the days that all three of my kids ate kid's meals, of course. Now, only my youngest eats kid's meals. The older two eat as much, if not more than, an adult.
