I love Christmas songs! As soon as Thanksgiving is over, I drag out all my Christmas CDs and that's all I listen to until Christmas is over. This year, I uploaded them all to my iPod, so I can have Christmas music wherever I go. There are few Christmas songs that I don't like, but here are some of my favorites, in no particular order:

5. Mary, Did You Know, by Kenny Rogers and Winona Judd (that's the best version, anyway)

10. O, Little Town of Bethlehem

What Child is This is my favorite. However, I love any Christmas song my young children attempt to sing. It's so cute. ;)

Excellent selection of songs! I've been listening to the all-Christmas radio station since Mid-November and, with few exceptions, haven't tired of it yet! :]

I am a total and complete Scrooge. Christmas music is to be sung at the midnight service on Christmas eve, and put up for the rest of the year!

ReplyDeleteI would never have said that God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen was one of my favorites -- but two versions of it (The Barenaked Ladies & Jars of Clay) are the two top played Christmas songs on my iPod. So, I'm going to guess that it must be one of my favorites. LOL
ReplyDeleteI am a huge sucker for Christmas songs. I actually listen to them all year long. Some of my favorites: O Come All Ye Faithful, What Child Is This?, O Holy Night, O Come O Come Emmanuel, etc.
Personally for me, #7 would never be on my list of favorites. O Holy Night!!!
