Check Out My Way Cool Header!

We interrupt the regularly scheduled program to say...

Have you seen my way cool new header??

I love it! As many of you know, I was really, really wanting a new blog design around the end of last year. I entered every contest I could find, to no avail. I hoped my husband would take the hint and fund a blog make-over for Christmas. Nope!

So, Christmas night, I sat up really late after everyone else had gone to bed and downloaded a new template from Our Blogger Templates. I really liked it, but something still wasn't just right. Then, my friend, Karen, suggested that I go with the red, white and black colors in my blog button. We were getting closer, but it still wasn't quite right. Karen and I both agreed that I needed an awesome header. But, I know absolutely nothing about making headers.

I was thrilled when, a few weeks later, I noticed that my favorite blog designer, Darcy of Graphically Designing, had her design queue back open. I jumped right on that! And, I'm so glad I did. Darcy did a fabulous job! She was incredibly patient and easy to work with as she created exactly what I had in mind...which was a really impressive feat considering that I didn't know exactly what I had in mind. I think it turned out fabulous!
