I was recently asked by Joy Miller, of FiveJ's to review her new eBook, Learn the States and Postal Abbreviations. Joy explains how the postal abbreviations are made, from easy to hardest and provides worksheets, flashcards, game ideas and maps (which will also help in learning the states' locations) to practice. The flash cards offer the state name on one side, with the abbreviation on the other. Printed out on cardstock, these would make a nice "car schooling" activity, as well. With vacation and travel season upon us, the flashcards and maps offer some fun travel game options -- think: quizzing with license plates.
