Three Things About Me

This week, I decided that I would participate in the "blog hop" hosted by MckMama of My Charming Kids...you know, Stellan's mom. (Okay, so apparently it's hosted by MckLinky creator Brent Riggs, but I first heard about it on MckMama's blog.) If you don't know what a blog hop is (I didn't!) read the FAQ in the linky thing (<-- technical term) below.


This week's theme is three things you don't know about me. Since I have a tendency to tell everything I know, this may be a little difficult, but I'll give it a go.

1. I love sweet tea. Oh, wait, if you've read my blog for, like, a day or two, you already know that. Um...how about this one: I have two sisters and two brothers, but I'm my parents only child. I'll let you ponder that one for awhile.

2. My dad's band opened for the Beach Boys in the '90's. (Okay, that one isn't really about me, but it's pretty cool...and I was there.)


3. I can't stand the sound of fingernails scraping a chalkboard or the metal tray on my dry erase board. It sends chills down my spine...and I don't like eyeballs.


Okay, that's probably all the random bits of trivia that you can stand for one day (which reminds me: I love trivia games!). Now, back to our regularly scheduled programing.

  2. Well, I got the first one easy, my Hubby is an only child but he has 4 bros and 3 sisters.... His parents had other kids when their spouses died, they married and had him. ♥

    I love the Beach Boys How cool is that!!!

  8. @ Chickenista -- Something like that. I have two steps and two half-siblings, but I am the only child of MY parents...and it's only my half-sister that I generally call my sibling with no explanation.
