HSBA Swap: Thanks, Julie!

I wanted to say a special thanks to my Homeschool Post Swap Sister, Julie, for the wonderful box of goodies that she sent.

I've been having a very hard time keeping the kids out of the Skittles and have finally had to give in and share a few.  They know better than to touch the dry erase markers, though.  Julie was kind enough to send glow sticks for the kids, which they're already planning to carry when we go trick-or-treating this weekend.

Julie's sweet son, Andrew (age 7) made the pot holder for me.  Isn't that the sweetest?  Thank you, Julie and family, for making me smile and putting something in my mailbox besides junk and bills.  ;-)  The next swap is on November 14.  Be watching The Homeschool Post for more details.

I just ran across your blog and wanted to leave a comment. I too homeschool my 4 children. I also use some of the same curriculum that you use such as, Easy Grammar(that we love) and Teaching Textbooks which my 6th grade son is loving this year. Just thought I'd let you know their's another weird, unsocialized bunch of kids in my neck of the woods too!! hehe
