When I unrolled the timeline, I was interested to find that the descendants of Noah are color-coded, making it easy to see which nations descended from each of Noah's three sons. It also has an index printed right on the map for quick and, well, somewhat easy, reference when you're looking for certain individuals.
However, I was rather disappointed once we started trying to use the timeline. It's huge size -- 38" X 46" makes it really awkward to use unless you can hang it on the wall, which we can't exactly do in our dining room In addition, I found the circular format to be difficult to read and figure out.
Finally, it was brought to my attention -- and I'm not sure I would have noticed this on my own due to the awkwardness I found in using the timeline -- that there are several references from the Book of Mormon included on the timeline, which doesn't mesh with my family's beliefs. Additionally, there were some vague references to a book about "pre-Adamites" and other books that, I'll admit, I didn't quite understand and which seemed more doctrinal than historical to me.
With it's awkward format and inclusion of references that don't fit with my family's personal belief system (and some that were just downright confusing), the Amazing Bible World History Timeline was not a good fit for our family. However, if it sounds like it would work for your family, it can be purchased for $29.97. Your purchase includes and Interactive Map of the Holy Land, the Genealogy of Jesus and a pdf file of the Amazing Bible Timeline.

The first thing I thought when looking at that timeline is...."How in the world would you read it?"
Glad to hear that workboxes are helping in areas that want.
Have a great weekend!!
As I was laying with my youngest reading your blog on my google reader my eyes got all big and I got excited when I read "Bible world timeline". Man, I was about to get giddy until I read your review. I'm bummed :( I tried to look at the picture and it just seems so complicated. I can't even imagine. Then the odd references, ya, totally a turn off. To bad :(. Thanks for the review.
