Just a few weeks ago, however, I had a book review to do and it just happened to come with a free audio book download. It also just so happened that this was about the same time that I was rediscovering a passion for sketching.
Hmmmm...hands-free reading while I sketched? Not a bad idea. Turns out that the lady reading this particular book (Sarah's Wish, if you're curious) is very enjoyable to listen to...and she does great voices. I actually enjoyed listening to the book while I sketched.

Yes, it was a light bulb moment and I so appreciate my local library for conveniently having all four books in the Twilight series in handy audio book format for me. While I still prefer to read a book myself, audio books are definitely a nice option for when you need your eyes and hands free for another project that doesn't require an immense degree of concentration. I would think that sewing, knitting, scrapbooking, and other craft projects would fall into that category...though scrapbooking is the only one this very non-domestic homeschool mom would actually know anything about.
