Who Are You?

Okay, so I really wanted to share the results of my demographics survey with cute little pie charts,but I can't figure out how to make them in Google Docs (which sounds better than saying that I don't know how to make them in whatever application I might be using).  So, you get bar graphs, instead.  Sorry.

Not surprisingly, more than 99% of you are female.  (I don't know whether to wave to Mister Dad or Tim...somebody didn't vote!)



Nearly half of you, 49%, are younger than me.  I'm not sure I like that.  ;-)  There are 34% that fall into the same age-range as me, though: 36-40 years old.




Most of you, like me, are full-time homemakers, for a total of 80% stay-at-home moms.



The majority of you, 97% are married.




Most of you have some college education, with 32% having completed college, 45% of you having graduated from college and 13% of you having gone to graduate school.



Household income was pretty evenly split across the board.



Most of you homeschool, with a small percentage just being curious about us weird, unsocialized homeschoolers (I hope you're seeing that we're not at all unsocialized and just a little weird).



Finally, more than half of you have two or three children.

  5. Very interesting! Does the data make you want to change anything or does it make you want to stay on the same course you are on? (Wow! That sounds geeky! In my life before kids, I was a biology research geek. I blow my cover now and then.)

  6. @ Mama Hall -- The only thing that really surprised me were how many people responded that they were just curious. I didn't realize we were that interesting. ;-)

    @ Marci -- No, it doesn't make me want to change anything -- except maybe to use my spell and grammar check more often. It sounds like many of my readers are probably smarter than me! lol

    And, I'm very typical of your readers. :-) I only have one child, and what surprised me was how many others had only one!
