It's so simple, but turned out so beautiful. Cheryl, the daycare mom, started with heavy sheets of corrugated cardboard, which she cut into wreath shapes. The kids then pasted on a variety of pasta shapes. Once dry, the entire thing was spray-painted gold.
After it was dry, the kids helped to add the holly leaves and red bow, while Cheryl operated the hot glue gun. It hangs by pretty gold bendable wire stuff (I told you I'm not crafty), which is simply duct-taped out of sight on the back. Simple, frugal, and beautiful, this wreath has graced our dining room wall for over a decade.
