January Sponsor Shout-Out

Can you believe it’s the middle of January already? I’m in big trouble if the whole year goes by this quickly! Maybe that saying, “time flies when you’re having fun” is true, though, because we sure have been having a lot of fun lately.

You might be missing out on just how much fun if you’re not following Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers on Facebook. I tend to share some of the craziness of my days over there – like this status update from last week:

“Just said to my youngest (and got away with it), ‘Since I let you bathe the dog, why don't you dust the living room.’ Guess I'm in trouble when it's no longer a treat to bathe the dog.”

I’m tellin’ ya, it’s fun times over there on Facebook. Have you pulled anything good over on your kids lately?

I wanted to take a minute to say a special thank-you to some very special folks. First of all, to y’all, the readers. Without you, I’d just get accused of talking to myself. (Because I don’t do that. Really. Maybe).

Second, I want to thank the WUHS sponsors for January. I appreciate each of the following for partnering with me this month:

Mindy’s Bookworms is a self-guided, interactive website that helps children in grades 2-12 to understand a wide variety of reading comprehension questions and offers practice to improve their skills for reading comprehension tests.

If you’re going to be attending any blogging or homeschooling conferences (like The 2:1 Conference for which I’m giving away a ticket), you’re going to want business cards to exchange with the bloggers and homeschooling moms that you meet. Vista Print offers business card, personalized calendars, and more.
