Yes, I am. I won’t be speaking this year, but I’ll be there and I’ll be manning the Lexercise table between sessions.
I have two girls (3 and 2) and am in the throes of beginning homeschool (I’m considering blogging about the process, as I’m nearly 40 and have spent my adult life pre-children teaching high school English and Biology… no need to say preschool is a little out of my comfort zone!) This morning on the way home from the grocery store, I was waiting at a red light when my three year old started to say, ‘fff…ed, fed. Fffff…ed, fed.’ I wondered what she was talking about when it suddenly dawned on me that we were sitting behind a FedEx truck! My baby just sounded out her first word by herself!
How exciting!! Those moments are priceless!
The hubby will be gone tonight, so I am trying to figure out how to occupy the children and still get the computer to myself to participate tonight. We just finished POE and are excited to see what is ahead! (On that note, do you know where I can sell the whole set?) “See” you tonight!
I hope you can work it out to be at the party. A little electronic babysitting, maybe? ;-) I used to use Vegsource’s homeschooling page a lot to sell homeschool stuff, but I haven’t in awhile. Do you have a local homeschool group you could advertise your POE set with? They have a Yahoo group for Trail Guide, too. I’m not sure if they allow items for sale or not.
