It was great to take advantage of that this week. I love that Trail Guide offers constructive things to do for a light school day if you aren't behind, but they they're things that can be ditched without too much guilt if you are.

Thanks, Laurie. I was really pleased with the way that one turned out.

We're loving Trail Guide! I was really apprehensive at first because we've tried so many different things lately searching for a good fit for history. I didn't even realize, when we agree to review it, that TG covered everything except math. I really hadn't done much research on it, other than the history component, which looked good.

We've been so very pleased with it! I'm already making plans to continue using it next year. I'll be doing a thorough review in a couple of months or so, after we've used it long enough to really get a good feel for it.

I did not realize Trail Guide is what you are using. I have been hearing so much about it- I am going to take a serious look at it.

Keep taking pictures!! Even if you fall way short, it is still more than if you give up. :) I am thinking I need to get on board.

We read The Courage of Sarah Noble in the fall...awesomely, the book was set in the town where we lived when my oldest was born! I had no idea. I may have read it as a child, but New Milford meant nothing to me...then when we moved there for hubby's job in the mid-90's...I probably had forgotten...then we moved back to NJ...and well, it was an awesome surprise!
