W elcome to the November 26, 2012 edition of Homeschool Showcase, where we spotlight all the encouraging, inspiring and just plain fun ways that homeschooling families live and learn together.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mine was bittersweet. I’ll be sharing more on that tomorrow. For today, it’s the newest edition of Homeschool Showcase. It’s a short and sweet version this week. It could have been insanely long if I’d included all the spam posts. Seriously, we’re talking 67 spam entries. It’s enough to make me want to close down the Showcase.
I won’t, though, because I enjoy reading all the entries and I hope you do, too. Homeschool Showcase is going to take the month of December off, though. We’re taking the month off of school, so I’m not completely sure what our schedule is going to be like and I bet most of you will be pretty busy, too.
For your reading enjoyment this week:
Claire presents a great, hands-on learning math activity in her post, Unmuddling Maths posted at angelicscalliwags.
Jolanthe shares Three-Letter Word Card printables for your young readers. Head over to Homeschool Creations to print yours!
Barb offers tips for Nurturing a Project Learning Environment posted at Harmony Art Mom.
Liz E reflects on Happiness as an Educational Goal posted at Homeschooling in Buffalo.
Mrs. White looks forward to celebrating her birthday with Free Presents for Mother. Find out more at The Legacy of Home.
That concludes the last edition of Homeschool Showcase for 2012. Submit your blog article to the next edition, scheduled for Monday, January 7, 2013, by using our carnival submission form. Post submissions are due by Friday, January 4, at 6:00 PM (EST). If you’re new to Homeschool Showcase please read the guidelines before submitting your post. Past posts can be found on our blog carnival index page.
