I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe it’s February already. You know what makes me feel a little bit better about how fast January flew by, though? By the next edition of the Homeschool Showcase, we’ll be on our first break of 2013! Let me just say, I’m ready! School has been going well, but mentally I’m ready for a break.

To help us make it through the next two weeks, though, here are some fantastically creative, hands-on ideas and inspiring tips from your fellow homeschool families.

Tricia Hodges share a great mixed media tutorial just in time for Valentine’s Day, Heart Collage: Mixed Media Acrylic. I think my girls would love this! Stop by Hodgepodge for all the details.

Another incredible end-of-unit presentation from Claire and crew. You’ve got to check out their Viking Presentation posted at angelicscalliwags. Those kids are never going to forget what they’ve learned about Vikings. Very cool!

"Kris Bales is the classically eclectic, slightly Charlotte Mason homeschooling mom to three amazing kids, the Christ-following, sweet tea addicted wife to one unbelievably supportive husband, and the formerly obese, couch-potato-turned-healthy runner of a bunch of 5K races and two half-marathons."
