Weekly Weigh-In

Happy Wednesday! I hope you’re having a great week, so far. Are you ready to weigh in?

As you may have guessed by my post title, I stayed exactly the same this week…and, to be honest, it’s one of those times that I’ll totally take it.

Between every female’s favorite monthly visitor and my discovery of Five Guys Burgers and Fries, staying the same sounds mighty good to me.

So, my family and I had a family date this weekend. We went to see Courageous – loved it! (Take a box of tissue, not just one or two.) – and out to eat afterward. We wanted something different and, since we’d never been to Five Guys, that was it.

It was so good! However, if you’ve never been and you should wonder what the difference between a regular burger and a “little” burger is, it’s an entire slab of beef. I falsely assumed that a “little” burger was a kiddie burger. Nope, it’s a single patty burger, which I should have gotten and would have if I’d known.

We got two regular size orders of fries to split between the five of us. We could have easily split one regular order of fries and everyone would have had plenty.

On a good note, though, I’ve created a new training plan for my half-marathon training since I’d gotten so far off my old one. It feels good to be back on track. I’ll do my first 10-mile long run this week, so I’m excited…and a little nervous…about that.

And, dreading it just a tiny bit since I’ll have to do it at a nearby running track, rather than the park where I prefer to go. I’ll just have to make sure my iPod is fully charged so I don’t get too bored.

So, what about you? How are you weight-loss efforts going?

Do or do not. There is no try.
