Facebook Party Giveaway: Victus Study Skills System

One of the things that I’m most excited about this school year is Victus Study Skills System. Kids are often told that they just need to study harder – but most kids have never been taught how to study. I know I never was and I had never taught my kids. Victus Study Skills System (V3S) is a series of fun, easy lessons (about 5 hours, total) that teach students:
- To identify their study style
- How to study
- Planning
- Time management
- Note taking skills
- Test taking skills (which I tried out on a quiz I did online recently and found to be very effective)
I’ll have a full review coming soon, but I’ll say that the planning and time management skills my kids learned going through V3S have been so helpful in transitioning them to more independent learning this year.
If you’ve got a student in middle or high school, I highly recommend this program. It can even be used with much younger students (even as young as 4 years old, according the the V3S website), so those of you with elementary age students will want to check it out, too.
The folks at Victus Study Skills System are giving away either one DIY workbook (recommended for ages 10+ completing the program independently) or one teacher edition and one student workbook set (recommended for all ages or if you’ll be using the program with more than one student – each student will need his or her own student workbook).
