Can you believe that the 2018 Great Homeschool Conventions season is right around the corner? Right now, when it’s cold outside, and cabin fever has taken hold, it helps me to remember that spring will be here eventually. And, with it, convention season! That means fresh new curriculum, encouraging and engaging speakers, and a chance to see many of my homeschool mom friends.

If you need a winter pick-me-up, I’ve got a chance for you to win a family registration to the Great Homeschool Convention location of your choice plus special event tickets for your immediate family!

2018 Great Homeschool Convention Locations

This year Great Homeschool Conventions has five locations from which to choose.Take your family or gather your girlfriends for a fun, weekend getaway!

You can attend GHC at any of those locations:

Encouraging Speakers

Check out the list of amazing speakers who will be at Great Homeschool Conventions in 2018. Some speakers vary by location. Many speakers come from years of personal homeschooling experience. They attend the conventions because they are passionate about both helping up-and-coming and seasoned homeschooling parents achieve a successful homeschooling experience.

They believe in homeschooling and have committed their lives to keeping the movement strong and on solid ground well into the future.  GHC chooses only the best speakers to inspire and equip you as a homeschooling parent.

{Note: Speakers vary by location.}

Engaging Workshops

Great Homeschool Conventions offers hundreds of workshops. There are more than 230 speaking sessions offered at each event! The variety of topics covered is incredible, from how to homeschool multiple ages at the same time to how to homeschool a gifted or special needs child.

Don’t know how to teach math and get concepts across to your teen? Get tips from math experts! Not sure how to get your child to write? Head to a writing workshop for fresh ideas!

What if you have a struggling reader? GHC has speakers who will share proven techniques to help! Does science have you stumped? GHC has experts who will tell you how to teach science in ways that will capture your kids’ attention and hold their interest.

Special Sessions for Homeschooling Trouble Spots

Special track sessions led by real experts in their fields will address homeschooling trouble spots. You can choose to take advantage of any of the following special sessions:

  • Parenting
  • Special needs/gifted students
  • Homeschooling 101
  • Homeschool Help Desk
  • Classical education

Massive Exhibit Hall

Shopping the huge exhibit hall at a Great Homeschool Event gives you the opportunity to seek and find curriculum that best fits your children’s learning styles. Meet many of the authors of popular curricula and engage in conversation to find out how their curriculum can help you reach your child’s full potential.

My favorite part is being able to take a hands-on look at so many homeschooling resources in one location.

Special Events

Hear compelling speakers tell their incredible stories by attending a GHC special event! You’ll have a chance to hear speakers such as:

  • Gianna Jessen
