It’s that time of year – the annual $5.99 sale at Great Products! That means it’s time to stock up on your favorite t-shirts. We did! Now, there are lots of homeschool t-shirt companies out there today, but Great Products has been around since our early homeschool days. I think it was the 2nd year we homeschooled that I got together my first group order for our local support group. It got to the point that, in August, families would start asking if I was going to doing an order for homeschool shirts soon.

Probably our all-time favorite, for obvious reasons, is the warning: unsocialized homeschooler shirt, modeled here by my boy a few years and a lot less facial hair ago.

We still have to get outfitted every year, so I thought you might be interested in seeing the shirts that made the cut this year – and having a chance to enter to win some shirts of your own!

First up, Megan chose the rooted and grounded shirt. She’s already worn it a couple of times since it arrived last Friday and every time she does, I tell her how much I like it on her. It just suits her.

Next, Josh chose the homeschool ninja shirt. He made an excellent choice, too, because, like Megan, he has already worn his a couple of times and I love it on him!

Brianna just had to choose a homeschool graduate shirt (you can choose the year). She hasn’t had a chance to wear hers yet because she’s been working, volunteering at church, and performing in the final weekend of a play. We all really like hers, too. Megan said, “It looks like a real graduation shirt.”

I didn’t point out that it is a real graduation shirt because I knew what she meant and it was intended to be complimentary.

Brian chose the homeschool father shirt. Now, I’ve got to say that I don’t like it as well as the shirt he got last year…but that’s only because it’s really hard to top “I’m in love with my kids teacher.”

Freak that I am, I got the same shirt that I got last year, but in a different color. I tried to pick a brighter, cheerier color since half of my closet is either brown or black. I must not be a bright, cheery person, though, because all year I’ve regretted that I didn’t get last year’s shirt in black – you know, until now.

I got the homeschool substitute shirt because it cracks me up. (You probably noticed that I’m not the only one in my family who is, apparently, not the bright and cheery sort.)

And, just as a bonus, I’ve got to tell you about the cutest new shirts Great Products has got – the color-in t-shirts! I love them! They come as a blank outline with washable markers and kids can color in their own shirts. Such a cute idea. I’ve linked to one, but be sure to look around. There are several different color-in designs. And, here’s another design that I predict is going to be wildly popular:

  1. Thanks for the giveaway! My daughter still has one of their t-shirts that she got when she was in 1st grade. Now she is 5th/6th so she would love to win a new one 🙂

  2. My kids would just love the Mind Craft shirt, but I prefer the Homeschool Mom, What’s your superpower. So cute!

  3. Love these shirts! Ordered the ninja shirt and two others, and I’m ready for some more. The kids were so proud to wear them.

  4. I can’t decide if I’d get the super hero mom tshirt or the homeschool mom just add coffee. They are both awesome so I’d probably just get both!!

  5. My son really wants the “Everything is Awesome” shirt since he loves the Lego movie. My girls like the new Princess shirts.

  6. There are so many great shirts that we’d love to have. My boys liked the Mind Craft shirts and I like the Homeschool Mom of 3 shirt. Thanks for hosting the giveaway and for giving us a heads up about the sale!

  7. Homeschooler by day… Tolkien Lover by Night (ok… Argon… ok… Vigo M.)
Homeschooler by day… Lego lover by day and NIGHT
Homeschooler by day… Horse freak by night
Homeschool Mom by day… Smut reader by night (and Oreo in bed eating at night)

I had to go back to the brick and mortar classroom last year. No insurance. Let me tell you, that shirt takes on an entirely new level of meaning after that! My kids couldn’t get sick. We weren’t allowed to get subs for days other than meeting days (RTI, etc.). So sick kids were out. Thank Our Sweet Lord for allowing us to move home again. Lots of repairing and loving to do. For all of us…

  8. I’ve always loved the ninja ones for my boys. If I won though, I’d let them pick their own. And for me, I think I’d get the “homeschool mom of 5” one.

  9. This is a favorite company of ours as well. We have many of them! I let my kids pick out theirs every time. I think my 13 year old boy would go with the “All American Homeschooler” one. My 10 year old boy would most likely pick the “Everything is Awesome” Lego design. My 13 year old might go for that one too! Oops – I just spied the “Mine Craft” one – that’s a top contender as well for both of those boys! I’m not sure what my 18 year old son would pick. It might be the “Contaminated Homeschooler” one or the homeschool graduate one. 🙂 So many great designs! I like the “Homeschool Mom of X” one. I’m not sure what I would get my hubby. After all, there is no topping the “I’m In Love with My Kids Teacher” shirt. 😉

  10. I like the “My children are homeschooled and so were…” shirt along with the homeschool grad, rooted, and homeschool girl shirts.

  11. My little one would love the color in t-shirts, Revolution Homeschool, Everything is Awesome, Homeschool Varsity! So many to choose from!

  12. WE have the Ninja one here too! I love these shirts and if I win I would so totally get the Mom-superpower or the I’m in love with my kids principal 🙂

  13. These shirts are so clever. Why have I never seen these before? We would love to have the whole family clad in these! I love the “No Substitute” shirt.

  14. I love the one for the dad about being in love with his kid’s teacher! But there’s so many good ones to choose from. We own several already!

  15. I would love the keep calm and homeschool on shirt. I know my son would go for the Mindcraft one. Homeschool princess would suit my daughter. But I’m not sure what hubby would choose.

  16. I just stumbled across these the other day! They are great! I wouldn’t mind a bag too! I like the Homeschool Revolution one. My daughter loves them all! My youngest son would go for the lego one.My oldest son would probably go for the minecraft. Husband…I wouldn’t venture to guess…I never get it right! 🙂

  17. What a hard decision! Probably Hip Hip Homeschooler or Ninja Boy for our little guy, homeschool princess for our daughter, Rooted & Grounded for the hubby, and just add tea for me.

  18. I would choose Homeschooler by Day Ninja by Night for my son, Zombies are afraid of Homeschoolers for the daughter, Homeschool Dad for the Dad, and I would pick Homeschool Mom just add Coffee.

  19. I think I’d choose the “Homeschool Mom, What’s Your Superpower?” shirt but I also love the “there is no substitute”.

I know at least 2 of my kids would choose the “Everything is Awesome with homeschool”.

    Thanks for the chance!

  20. Oh my goodness I want waayyy too many of the shirts! I like the no substitute shirt, the weird, unsocialized, the keep calm shirt and so many more! My boys would love the ninja shirts and my daughter would like the weird unsocialized shirt or ninja shirt. 🙂

  21. I would get the “I am in love with my kid’s principal” one! I have three boys that are not interested in checking the shirts out right this minute, but I’m sure they’d like the Ninja shirts! LOL For the hubby, the “rooted and grounded” shirt, I think!

  22. I tell myself I’m going to order every year – this is the year I start!
We love: Lego, Mind Craft, I love my HS (unicorn) (which is actually a pegicorn), Ninja Girl, Warning, My Children & I’m In Love.

Thanks for reminding me of the sale & offering the giveaway!

  23. Would love two of the “color your own” t-shirts for my Littles. What a fun way to not only sport your homeschool pride, but to also use it as an art project! Fun! I love the Rooted and Grounded shirt and my honey would look great in the homeschool revolution shirt! Thank you for the opportunity! 🙂

  24. I have Super Power and Rooted and Grounded, so I’d probably go with No Substitute or Oh no, forgot to socialize. For Dad, in Love with Teacher, probably. 🙂

For the boys (they have Weird and Lego), probably ninjas or zombies, or maybe Lego in a different color.

  25. We love the shirts we bought last year, and I plan to order some this year to put away for Christmas gifts. My boys already have the ninja ones and love them. I want to get them the Mind Craft, my daughter wants “Kickin It with Homeschool” and I haven’t decided on my husband’s and mine yet.

  26. We like the; Homeschool Girl, Birdcage, Rooted and Grounded, Homeschool Father, HS Mom Retro, Lego, and Awesome Homeschooler T-Shirts.

  27. There are so many great shirts, I don’t know which ones I would choose! I do like the “I’m in love with my kid’s teacher” for my husband.

  28. I would like the ninja ones for my two boys in different colors. For my husband, a crush on my kid’s teacher. For me, homeschool revolution or the substitute teacher one. Awesome shirts!!

  29. My kids like the ‘warning’ tshirts, I would have to go with the ‘homeschool mom, just add tea’ shirt myself.

  30. The ” oh no I forgot to socalize” one made me laugh out loud. For my son the ninja one for sure. My eldest daughter and my husband there are several just not sure which they would pick.

  31. My kiddos have the Homeschool Ninja shirts. I have “Keep Calm and Homeschool On” and “Homeschool Mom: Just Add Coffee”. I would probably get the “I’m in Love with my Kids’ Principal” shirt and just let my kiddos choose their next ones. I have a feeling my 10 year old son would want the Lego “Awesome” shirt.

  32. For my daughter, I’d like the “I love my HS” with the unicorn on it — she LOVES unicorns!!
For me, I’d like the “Homeschool Mom, What’s Your Superpower?” one 🙂

  33. These are on my wish list:
I’m in love with the principle
I’m in love with the teacher
    I’m homeschooled and so were…
This is what an awesome homeschooler looks like
    bus driver
    future homeschooler monkey

  34. I love the one I have a crush on my kids principal. My oldest boy loves Minecraft, middle boy would love the Ninja one and then my baby girl would love the princess one. These are so cute!!!

  35. The shirts I would ask for are:
Mom = No Substitute – T-Shirt Military Green
Dad = Dad – HS Are You One – T-Shirt Dark Gray
    Child 1 = (New) HS Princess – T-Shirt Purple
    Child 2 = (New) Mind Craft – T-Shirt Royal
Child 3 = (New) Mind Craft – T-Shirt Military Green
Child 4 = (New) Mind Craft – T-Shirt Neon Pink
    Child 5 = (New) Mind Craft – T-Shirt Purple

  36. Wow. There are so many neat options, especially in the regular t-shirt designs. I like the “no substitute” or the “I Promise” mom t-shirt for me, and the “I am homeschool and so were…” for my kids, and the “HS Are You One” for my hubs. Even if I don’t win the giveaway these would make great Christmas gifts. Love ’em!

  37. I like them all! My kiddos like the ninja shirt and my hubby would totally wear the “in love with my child’s teacher” shirt. 🙂

  38. We have the “Ninja by Night” shirt for our oldest. I would love to get my youngest a Minecraft shirt and a ninja shirt for our middle. They are so cute!
