I am still stunned and in shock. A dear friend of mine, who was perfectly healthy two days ago, went home to be with Jesus last night. She was only 35 and leaves behind a devoted husband and five precious girls.

There was no tragic accident, just a sudden and unexpected medical emergency. Christina was one of my dearest friends and Brianna’s best friend’s mom. She was one of the first moms I met when we began homeschooling and she and I and our daughters have been friends ever since.

I’m going to to take a few days off from blogging to grieve and be with my family and do what I can to support my Christina’s family.

I know you understand. Please keep this precious family in your prayers.

When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous seek refuge in God.  — Proverbs 14:32

We’ll miss you, Christina. I want to be you when I grow up.
