Weekly Weigh-In

It’s Weekly Weigh-In time. I hope the scale treated you all very well this week.

Me? Not so much. Noodle, I hope, for your sake, that we don’t have the same number this week.

Of course, it could have been worse. I could have gained. I could have stayed the same, so I really shouldn’t be complaining.

I lost half-a-pound. Not what I was hoping for, especially since I’ve seen on the scale that elusive number that would mark 85 lbs. lost. A couple of time.

But never on weigh-in day.

I think that’s the most frustrating part. However, if I have to be completely honest, if you’d told me in November of 2009 that I’d weigh 136 pounds in August 2011, I’d have done cartwheels.

Except, I’d probably have broken something.

So even though the last few pounds are proving very difficult to get off, I’m much, much happier where I am now than where I was when I started.

So, I’ll keep plugging away. Even if the weight comes off a half-a-pound-a-week at a time.
