Weekly Weigh-In

It’s Weekly Weigh-In time! The best word for my weigh-in this week is: relieved.  I lost!  I didn’t lose much, but a loss is better than a gain, right?  I lost 0.4 lb.  Yes, that is four-tenths of a pound.  Why am I relieved?  Because I didn’t gain.

Our first week off of school for the summer is always our busiest.  Brianna’s birthday always falls in that first week off which means party prep in addition to catching up on the laundry, housework, and everything else that has fallen by the wayside in the last few weeks of finishing school.

Because our schedule was crazy-busy and completely out of whack, my workout schedule really took a hit.  I only got the the gym once last week.  I worked out at home, but I missed the intensity of my gym workouts.

Then, I had issues with my bodybugg. The USB cable quit working.  They’re sending me a new one and they extended my online subscription for two additional months, so I’m totally happy with the resolution, but not being able to download and see my results kind of threw me off.  That’s probably not a very good excuse since my digital display still worked, but, hey, since I’m making excuses, I thought I’d throw that one in.

On top of all that, there was Dairy Queen ice cream cake in the house — my willpower is fairly strong, but not that strong — and we had a cookout Sunday.

Okay, okay.  I’m through with excuses.  Time to get the workout schedule back to as close to normal as possible this week and make up for lost time.

How’d you do on the scales this week?

  1. I'm sorry I haven't been weighing in. I'm here in spirit though! 🙂

I've had scale issues, my old one was wildly fluctuating. I finally bought a new one only to realize when I got it home that it had been opened and taped back up. I tried it any way and at first it tlod me I weighed 136 (I wish!) then it said I weighed 70 (that's not healthy) and finally it said I weighed 438 (no thank you).

All this to say I need to take it back and get another new one. Maybe I should stick to measuring inches 🙂

  2. First, CONGRATULATIONS on yet another week of weight loss!!!

I'm down another .5 from when I emailed you the other so it shows that cutting out snacks is important. :o)
