Can you believe Christmas is a week from today?  Wow!  Where has the time gone?  There will, of course, be no Weekly Wrap-Up next week or the following week, due to New Year’s.  We’ll resume on January 8.  Also, if my blogging is sporadic during that time, I have not fallen off the face of the earth; I’m just enjoying time with my family.

This week has been spent getting the house in order — cleaning bedrooms, basic housework and laundry.  Exciting stuff.  I was able to go out Tuesday night and get some Christmas shopping done.  I was not looking forward to it because there were a couple of things that I had to go to the mall for…and I hate the mall.  However, the mall was not the crowded nightmare that I thought it might be and the whole experience was much better than I had anticipated.  I was also able to get the bulk of my remaining shopping done.  The rest I should be able to pick up somewhere other than the mall this weekend.

On the weight-loss front, I lost 1.4 lbs. last week.  I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t a little bit more, since I was going for an even 10 lbs. lost, but a loss is a loss and I know I’ll get that ten pounds — and more! — soon.

That’s about the extent of our excitement for this week. How was your week? Be sure to post about it and sign up with MckLinky. If this is your first time to join us, be sure to read the Weekly Wrap-Up guidelines.

**Remember, be sure to link directly to your Weekly Wrap-Up post so that others can find it easily when they visit your blog and be sure to post a link back here so that your readers can find the Wrap-Up and join us.

  1. I hope the rest of your getting ready for Christmas goes smoothly as well. Congrats on losing a little more. Anything is progress in that battle. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to your family. I have enjoyed participating in the Weekly Wrap Up. Looking forward to continuing next year.

  2. I know! Where has the year gone?? I wish I could get my house together, it's been two steps forward, one step back around here. But we'll get there 🙂

Congrats on the weight loss! I know it's frustrating when it doesn't come off as quickly as you want but you are off to an amazing start already! 2 lbs a week is a good average 🙂

  3. Yea for the weight loss, even if it wasn't quite as much as you wanted. I think at this time of year, any amount would be GREAT!

Have a great Christmas & we'll "see" you again soon! 🙂
