Thank goodness it’s Friday! It’s been a good week, but busy and I’m excited for the weekend. I’ve got a 5K in the morning and I’m hoping to do some trail riding on my new mountain bike sometime this weekend. Do you have any fun plans?

This time next week, I’ll be at The 2:1 Conference in Sterling, Virginia! Aside from the idea of dealing with airport security, which I haven’t had to deal with since pre-9/11, I’m really excited. I’m not terribly nervous about speaking – at least, not yet – and I’m really looking forward to hanging out with lots of my bloggy friends and rooming with Angie.

Oh, and since I’ll be out-of-town, there won’t be a Weekly Wrap-Up next week, but I’ll look forward to catching up with you the following Friday, May 4!

This time last week, we were knee-deep in prom preparations. My girl looked stunning, if I do say so myself.

She had a great time.

This week, I’ve been incredibly busy fine-tuning my notes for my 2:1 breakout sessions and week one of the 10 Days of Homeschooling 101 series, which has been a lot of fun.

Of course, there’s been school in the midst of all that, so it’s been a busy week. That’s why I’m really glad it’s Friday.

How was your week? Be sure to post about it and sign up with MckLinky. If this is your first time to join us, be sure to read the Weekly Wrap-Up guidelines. You can also follow the guidelines link to grab the banner code.
