It’s hard to believe that another week has passed so quickly. Where is the summer going?

I hope you all had a wonderful July 4th holidays. We spent Sunday evening with Brian’s family, watching the fireworks at a local amusement park from their neighborhood that overlooks the city. It was nice to be able to enjoy the show without being forced to fight the traffic afterward.

Monday, we had lunch with my in-laws again and dinner with my dad and step-mom. So our Fourth was an enjoyable, relaxing day with family.

Brianna’s volleyball practice resumed this week, so I can already feel the last days of summer slipping from my grasp. *sigh*

I’ll be completely honest and say that I’m not even ready to start thinking about school yet. Unfortunately, with our local curriculum fair just two weeks away, I know I’m going to have to start thinking about it.

Speaking of curriculum fairs, while I’m out shopping for next years’ curriculum – okay, I’ll be honest…I pretty much have all that we need already, so while I’m out socializing with the other homeschool moms – we’ll have a special edition “share your curriculum” Weekly Wrap-Up. So, be prepared with your curriculum posts on Friday, July 22.

I know a lot of you have already posted about what you’ll be using, so feel free to link up to your already-published curriculum post. Maybe between the curriculum fair and reading what you all are going to be using next year, I can start to get psyched up.

How was your week? Be sure to post about it and sign up with MckLinky. If this is your first time to join us, be sure to read the Weekly Wrap-Up guidelines. You can also follow the guidelines link to grab the banner code.

**Remember, be sure to link directly to your Weekly Wrap-Up post so that others can find it easily when they visit your blog and be sure to post a link back here so that your readers can find the Wrap-Up and join us.**

  1. Our 4th was rained out but we did manage to run out and get some sparklers in before the big thunderstorms. So all was not a loss 🙂  Your curriculum link up will motivate me! Thanks Kris!

  2. We had a lazy 4th.  We did venture out to see the fireworks, but that was really it.  No crafts or unit.

I hope I am able to put that curriculum post together by the 22nd.  LOL.

  3. Finally had a chance to write my post and link up.  Our hs convention is next week so I am excited!

  4. Thank you for the heads up!  I need to write a curriculum post anyways.  Looking forward to reading yours!
