Happy Friday, y’all! I hope you’ve all had an amazing week. Are you on Christmas break already? If not, when will you start?

Weekly Wrap-Up

What’s Happening in WUHS World

It’s been an interesting week. The remodeling work that was supposed to start Monday at 9 a.m. finally started Wednesday. One of the hazards of modeling during cold and flu season it that sometimes the people who are doing the work get sick. Things are underway now, though.

Our cabinets that were supposed to be delivered mid-January are now being delivered within the next two weeks. Y’all know how I crave routine, right? This project is definitely pushing me out of my comfort zone.

My boy had a birthday on Monday. He’s 19, y’all. Where do the years go? I’m awfully proud of the man he’s become.

We finally decorated our Christmas tree this past weekend. I think that’s the latest we’ve ever decorated. It was just Brian and I for the first time in 20 or so years. {sigh}

We waited so long trying to find a time when everyone was home. That just wasn’t happening. I did save Megan’s favorite ornament for her to hang herself, though. That made up a little bit for us not waiting on her.

Let’s not even talk about Christmas shopping. I haven’t even started yet! I have seriously never waited this long. I think I’ll have a Saturday morning date with my laptop and Amazon Prime. {sigh}

Now, forgive me for being short and sweet this week, but I’ve been battling a killer headache and I think it’s winning.
