If you’ve been around my blog for awhile, you may recall me posting about my charger drawer around this time last year.  While the charger drawer still totally works for us, it can be a bit confusing trying to find a particular charger — or USB cable since we’ve had a lot of those take up residence in the drawer, what with all the digital cameras and iPods around here.

So, a few weeks ago, I got a brilliant idea.  I got my label maker and made labels for each of the chargers and USB cables in the drawer.  Now, it’s easy to see, at a glance, which is which:

charger drawer 1
charger drawer 2

In the process, I was also able to clean out a lot of chargers that we no longer need.  It’s a lot easier now to find what I’m looking for in the charger drawer.

  1. Smart!! I need a charger drawer like this, and definitely must have the labels. This sounds like a fun afternoon project (okay, I'm nerdy, too.)

  2. Smart idea! I'm with Meghan, a label-maker addict, and my cord drawer could definitely use some attention!

  3. I have a charger drawer but I do not have labels on my chargers what an awesome idea. I love my label maker and I love organizing and this will just make me so happy.
