Where will plants grow best?

Is it the sunny spot… or the one that looks convenient?
What happens when plants get enough water… or not quite enough?
Why do some plants take off… while others struggle?

Those questions turn into observations.
Those observations turn into understanding.

As they move through the lab, kids aren’t just planting.

They’re testing light, water, and soil conditions, choosing plants based on real factors like space, weather, and time, watching changes day by day, keeping Field Notes on what they notice, and figuring out what’s actually helping things grow.

And maybe most importantly…

they start connecting cause and effect in a way that sticks.

Some plants will thrive.

Some won’t.

That’s not failure.

That’s the lab.
