Geography is one of those subjects that can easily fall by the wayside in a homeschool. That’s really a shame because, not only is it important to be raising geographically-literate kids, but geography is so easy to incorporate into other areas of study, such as history, literature, and current events. It’s one of those subjects that can be studied without creating a bunch of extra work for the kids or the teaching parent.

If it’s fun, important, and easy, why is it falling by the wayside? Although it is super-easy to incorporate geography across the curriculum, there is much to love about geography as a stand-alone subject. Want to know my top 9 reasons to love geography?
