I saw this on Cheryl’s blog and it looked like fun, so I thought I’d play.  As I told Cheryl, that may all be due to the fact that I’d decided to clean out the garage today and this is keeping me from doing that, but that’s neither here nor there.  If you decide to play along, let me know so I can come read your answers.

What was the last thing you put in your mouth? A nice, big swig of sweet tea.

Can you play Guitar Hero? Yes, but not very well.  I like Rock Band better, though I am pretty fond of Guitar Hero World Tour.  I play on medium and usually score in the 80-90% range.

Name someone who made you laugh today.  Hmmm…I don’t recall laughing yet today.  I did sleep in, though, so the day is still young.

How late did you stay up last night and why?  I was up until 1:30 because I’m a night owl.  I enjoy the peace and quiet after everyone else is in bed.  I was listening to a book on CD and drawing.

If you could move somewhere else, would you? Maybe.  I’d love to move somewhere a little more rural where we could have a big, flat yard and no neighbors, with yappy little dogs, who like to sit on their deck and talk — loudly — at 6:30 AM.

Name one thing you love about your body. My hair.

Which of your friends lives closest to you?  My friend Susan.

Do you believe ex’s can be friends?  Not in my experience.  Civil, perhaps, but not friends.

How do you feel about Dr Pepper?  Yuck!  Hate it!  Brian loves it, though.

If you could do any job in the world what would it be?  I’d love to be an author.

Who was the last person you took a picture of?  I tend to take more pictures of things than people, it seems.  I guess that last person would probably be the kids when we were at Disney.

Was yesterday better than today?  It’s been a nice weekend in which everything that I *have* to do is pretty much caught up, so today and yesterday have been equally enjoyable so far.

Can you live a day without TV?   As long as I have my laptop or a good book, I’m fine.  I could go a long time without TV — well, at least from Tuesday to Tuesday.  We’re huge Biggest Loser fans.

Are you upset about anything?  Nope.  It’s a good day.

Do you think relationships are ever really worth it? Most definitely.

Are you a bad influence?  Rarely.

Night out or night in? In, totally.  I’m very much a homebody.

What items could you not go without during the day? My sweet tea, my laptop, and my binder.

Who was the last person you visited in the hospital? My grandmother, shortly before she passed away.

What does the last text message in your in-box say? Okay, here’s where I make people gasp in shock:  I don’t get text messages on my phone.  They’re blocked because our phone plan charges a per text fee.  Since I am an extremely honest person, though, I will say that we had texts allowed on my phone for awhile when I unclicked a box I shouldn’t have when looking at my account online.  So, technically, the last text I got said something about my dogs being okay when my dad and step-mom pet-sat for us while we were on vacation.

How do you feel about your life right now? Very satisfied.

Do you hate anyone?  Hate, no.  Strongly dislike, yes.

Do you like your wedding ring or do you secretly wish it was different? I love it!  I’m one of those sentimental sorts who will never change it.  I want the ring that Brian put on my hand the day we married to be on my hand when I die.

Say you were given a drug test right now, would you pass?  *snort*  Absolutely!  Don’t you know?  I’m the goody-goody of the family.

Would you ever get some plastic surgery?  I doubt it, though I did try to talk my doctor into giving me a tummy tuck when I had my last c-section.

What song is stuck in your head? It’s a toss up between Supermassive Black Hole by Muse and Leave Out All the Rest by Linkin Park.  Two words:  Twilight CD.

Name something you have to do tomorrow.  Homeschool

Do you think too much or too little?  Way, way too much.  I obsess about one thing until I come up with a new thing to obsess about.

Do you smile a lot? Not really.  Not that I don’t have things to smile about.  I’m just more of a “relaxed face” kind of person.

That was fun.  Remember, let me know if you decide to play along.

  1. Thanks for playing along, I love these sort of things…especially when there are unpleasant chores to do 🙂

I wish I was a relaxed face person. I'm probably going to have a ton of wrinkles due to my over-animated face!

  2. oh oh i may am totally stealing this!!!! lol

p.s. yap yap yap yap……. i don't know how you stand the dogs. lol

  3. I decided to play too. We are probably going to Northern Virginia- not for a while though. It would be kind of hard on the kids to move from Maui to Virginia in February! My kids would have to start wearing shoes!

  4. LOL Yeah, that would be hard…and I'm totally not laughing at anybody about the shoes thing. I don't wear them unless I have to.
