2 cans crescent rolls
2 8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1 T. fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla1
1/2 T. milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray pan lightly with Pam or cooking spray. Press one can crescent rolls into bottom of 8 x 10 in pan. Place cream cheese in microwave for approximately 45 seconds to soften. Mix the remaining filling ingredients with the softened cream cheese, using a mixer, until smooth. Pour over flattened crescent rolls. Place the remaining cresent rolls flattened atop the cream cheese mixture, filling in any gaps. Bake for approximately 30 -40 minutes or until lightly brown. After removing Danish from oven, drizzle topping mixture over the warm Danish. Enjoy!
