It’s the time of year when many of us are thinking about getting back to school. So, I thought I’d share some of my favorite back-to-school tips.

1. Our color-coordinated supply boxes may be a little OCD on my part, but they work wonders for keeping everybody’s supplies straight and cutting down on the “that’s not mine” arguments when it’s clean up time.

2. My Mom Binder keeps me sane and organized. It’s one planning tool that I use every day.

3. I’ve got my “Top 10” supply list written down and ready to go for some back-to-school shopping this weekend.

4. Keep your teacher texts and consumable workbooks in mint condition with this simple tip.

  1. Oh gosh, you are so organized. I was just getting over one of those days when I'm surrounded by chaos and can't function. I love the color-coded supply idea. I'm more of a color-code-by-subject person but I see the advantages of your method! Time to hit some back-to-school sales.

  2. I'm pretty much ready for back to school!! My son doesn't go back until September though… but I love getting organized for it.

Come stop by my blog ~ I’m sharing a tasty thing I found that works for me and my daughter, which you’ll see LOL. Plus I have a little info on a Non-BlogHer party going on with GIVEAWAYS and fun!! https://www.garibaysoup.com

  3. We color coordinate too here. Which can be a problem when 2 of them randomly switch favorite colors. Oh well, they learned to cope.

  4. @ Ticia — We've had that problem, too. My oldest and youngest both say blue is their favorite color. My youngest said she was okay with pink…until I started buying all the stuff, then, she wanted blue, too. Like you said, she learned to cope. 😉

  5. I love our color coded pencil boxes.. I used your idea last year. It really love your ideas. 🙂
