I won’t be posting the Weekly Wrap-Up for the next two weeks, due to the holidays. You are, of course, perfectly welcome to post your Wrap-Up on your site, there just won’t be a link-up here. We’ll resume again on January 9.

Merry Christmas!

  1. I hear ya! My middle son has been stuck in bad attitude mode for the last three days..I’m about to throw him in with the proverbial towel.

  2. Oh, how I can relate…at least about not being able to throw in the towel every now and then. I took a nap in the swing in the basement today. Guess that counts as my break! We definitely need more structure again!! I hope you feel better soon. I’ll try to be back later with our Weekly Wrap-up, but if I don’t make it, know that I stopped by! Have a nice weekend!

  3. OK, I just now went over to my blog on Blogger (my original one from ages ago.) I was tired of the background so I changed blogs and then I saw comments from folks who loved the horse background. I was only able to do that on one of the templates. Now…I have boring because I didn’t save the other one. *she sighs*

anyway, the point of this is the fact that I had no clue that anyone had left any comments. Could you please take me through the set up so I can figure out what to do to have e-mail notification, like over on HSB? And I guess you’d better e-mail me, since I won’t know if you leave a comment. Bummer.

  4. Hmmmm…Sounds like you need to put them to work. I guess you can’t make them white wash the fence Tom Sawyer style in winter. But you could make them wash walls, scrub floors, clean out the storage room, move boxes, sweep the garage, organize the kitchen cabinets, paint their rooms, or you could let them know that it would be their fate if they don’t choose to be cheerful and kind. Choices are everything around here.

  5. Oh how I can relate!! I also have children with “just too much time on their hands so lets argue ALL the time”. If it wasn’t for the fact that I NEED the break from hsing then I would have already started back up.

Hang in there. We had lots of snow yesterday and hubby was at work 14 hours so I decided I was not going to let them drive me crazy (especially since hubby is working 14 hours again today). I kept the day full of activities for them. Once they were done with a movie it was time to get out the crayons. Once that was done I moved them on to something else. Boy did this help.

I just hope I have the energy to keep up today : )

  6. I’m sorry you’re having a rough week. I’m a little scared about not being able to quit the motherhood thing once the baby’s here….

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! I also hope your kids give you a little peace and quiet. 🙂

  7. Sorry about the rough week. My kids get stir-crazy too, when they don’t have something to “do”. My daughter has gotten better in the last couple of years with staying busy – and in fact, gets irritated when I assign “schoolwork”. My son, though, does better when I have things for him to do. I don’t have an answer for you. I threaten to give my kids extra work, so they at least leave me alone, but it doesn’t stop their fussing at each other. I said a prayer for you today.

  8. Maybe we can get them all together to fight amongst themselves while we vent to one another. Are you free Monday or Tuesday? 🙂
