Weekly Weigh-In

Welcome to the Weekly Weigh-In’s new day!  Yep, it’s official:  I’m changing the day.  You’ll still get your weekly dose of accountability, just on Wednesdays now.  Remember:  you can stop by and update with your results for the week whenever you weigh in, I’ll just be posting my results on Wednesdays now.

Why the change?  Well, I’ve noticed for the last several weeks now that I’m consistently at a lower weight on Tuesdays.  I’m a little less strict with my calorie counting on the weekends and I don’t typically workout on Sundays, so I felt like that was putting me at a disadvantage.  I know it all works out the same in the end, but why feel bad with little or no loss on Monday when I could wait a day and actually be encouraged with my results?

So, my official result this week?  I lost 2 pounds!  It’s about time!  I had told several people last week that if I didn’t lose this week, I was going to whack off a limb.  😉  I worked very hard last week on both calorie counting and activity level.  I thought about what Lisa Terkeurst said in her book, Made to Crave, about asking yourself several questions about how you’ve done regardless of what the scale says.  I could honestly say that, before I got on the scale this week I felt good about what I’d done…but it’s still nice to see the scale reflect that.

So, what about you?  How did you do this week?

  1. Congrats on being down 2 lbs!! That is so awesome!!

I am actually down another pound. However, I got sick again. So, it is a sick loss, instead of a healthy loss. Losing weight because of being sick, is not fun. Can't wait to loose the weight the healthy way!

  2. Congrats! I was SO expecting a good loss this week…and NADA, ZIP, ZILCH!

So maybe next week will look better for me?

  3. I stayed the same this week although I was down 1 pound yesterday. I'm not discouraged though because I did really bad 2 days and haven't exercised at all. I'm not sure what's going on with me as I've taken a nap every day this week. Hormones may be involved. LOL
