Weekly Weigh-In

Happy Wednesday! What do you mean it’s not Wednesday yet? Shhh…let’s pretend it is because I have something that I can’t wait until tomorrow to tell you.

{drum roll}

Today, I have given myself the best birthday present ever! I lost 3.4 pounds last week, which officially puts me at 76.8 pounds lost!!

I blew my 1.5 goal out of the water this week! When I saw the number that came up on the scale, I said (out loud, by myself, on the scale), “That’s what I’m talking about!”

It took a bit longer than I’d hoped, but here are the results of 19 months of hard work:

75 pounds

I’ve got 18 pounds more to go, but I know I can do it because I’ve made it this far. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the ladies who recommended My Fitness Pal to me! Consistently tracking my calorie intake was the biggest change I made last week – well, that and adding strength training back into my workout – and the results were more than I’d hoped for.

I sincerely hope this means I’m back on track because I’m dead serious about getting this last 18 pounds off by mid-August.

So, what about you? How did you to this week?

Do or do not. There is no try.
