Weekly Weigh-In

It’s Weekly Weigh-In time!  Time to share how you did on the scale this week and you’re also free to “weigh in” on any health or fitness-related issue.  I know everybody has different weigh-in days, so feel free to add your link (if you post your weigh-in on your blog) any time this week.  Just be sure to link directly to your weigh-in post so others can find it easily.  You’re also free to leave your results in the comments.

Mine is going to be short and sweet today since I’m actually posting Monday night and my dh is waiting on me to watch a movie together…you know, since we didn’t actually get our date this weekend.

I didn’t think I’d done well this week.  I did a sneak-peak at the scale on Friday and I wasn’t down much.  Maybe my “last chance workout” at the Y on Sunday helped.  Whatever it was I was down by…are you ready…

*drum roll*

…2.6 lbs. this week!!  I was very excited since I thought it was going to be less than a pound.  I’m pulling out all the stops this week, as far as workouts go, and really watching my calorie consumption because I’d love to lose a big number next week.  Three point two pounds would put me at an even 30 lbs. lost and — here I go being totally transparent — 3.4 would get me out of the 190’s.  I may not make such a  big goal in one week, but it sure won’t hurt to try.

How’d you do this week?

  1. YAY YOU!! I only lost 1 lb this week. 🙁

I ought to be grateful for it because we had workers in and out of the house all last week, and my schedule was completely wacked. I didn't exercise nearly as much as I should have — or intended to — and we ended up eating out more than usual, partly because of the workers as well. And of course, last night's careful planning for Chili's and we ended up at On The Border, where I convinced the server to let me get the kids meal and it still felt like too much food. I'm scared to go look at the calorie count.

So … on to smaller and better things in the week ahead! 🙂

  2. Didn't you see my visualization post a couple of weeks ago? You lost an entire tub of butter off your body, girl! Way to go!!

  3. I didn't, but that's true! YAY ME! Lol!

Today was much better. I ate what I was supposed to eat, and I even exercised despite working at the food pantry half the day and spending two hours taking the urchins to fencing class. 🙂

  4. This was the first week after I had officially gone back to WW meetings. I wasn't doing too well without the accountability so I don't count anything before now.

My meeting was canceled last week because of the snow and the suspense has been killing me, waiting until Thursday again. So I snuck a peek yesterday and I've lost 5.2! That is for almost two weeks so I don't expect to see such big results after this. I'm trying to get off as much as I can before hubby and I leave for our cruise in a week and a half. I just don't want to gain anything while on board the ship!
